REQUIREMENTS:
3-year tertiary qualification in Computer Science or related field
3-5 years relevant experience working through the design, development, and release cycle, as well as the support of software products to market (essential).
Experience in healthcare industries will be advantageous.

Accountant and Bookkeeper

A small professional Accounting practice requires the services of a qualified Accountant and Bookkeeper.
Based in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, this privately owned practice is renowned for their professionalism and proactive approach.

The Accountant will produce accurate and timeous financial and management analysis and reporting, maintenance of the integrity, accuracy and completeness of respective accounting records and information systems.

Minimum 3 years corporate tax experience;
Must be proficient in CASEWARE;
Must pay attention to detail;
Must be extremely accurate;
Must have a working knowledge of the Tax Administration Act;
Must be able to work within budget and time constraints;
Must be able to handle pressure and work demands;
Must have an understanding of Turbocash, Lotus and Excel;
Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans;
Must have own reliable transport;
Must be willing and able to work overtime at short notice, when necessary;

The Bookkeeper must be able to fulfil the following functions;

Full function bookkeeping to balance sheet.
Debtors and creditors maintenance.
Monthly management accounts.
Balancing monthly control accounts.
Receiving cash sales and petty cash administration.
E-filing for VAT returns.
