Reflective films are one-sided, mirror finished films that works best during the daylight hours. The privacy is achieved by providing a mirror finish on one side of the glass whilst allowing vision from the other side (usually from the inside). The film works on a light balance, with the side of the film that is brightest exhibiting the reflective properties. During daylight hours this is always the side of the film facing outwards, making it ideal for daytime privacy. People passing by will only see their own reflection when looking in.
