Experienced Veterinary Nursing Assistant / Vet Tech / Kennel Hand

Briza Veterinary Clinic – Table View, Cape Town

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Veterinary Nursing Assistant, Vet Tech or Kennel Hand to join our dedicated team.

The ideal candidate will have experience with:
- Confident animal handling
- Operating blood analysis machines
- Preparing animals for surgery
- Monitoring patients before, during and after surgery (under veterinary supervision)
- Packing and sterilising surgical instruments
- Taking x-rays (under supervision)
- Preparing the theatre for surgical procedures
- Assisting the veterinarian with medical and surgical procedures

Requirements:
✔️ Previous small animal veterinary experience (essential)
✔️ Reside in Cape Town
✔️ Computer literacy (advantageous)
✔️ Valid driver's licence (preferred)
✔️ Own reliable transport, as shifts may finish as late as 7:00 pm

Salary: based on experience.
