Laser Engineering founded in 1987 was the first independent contractor to offer 24/7 Laser Alignment service to industry. Since then Laser Engineering has expanded their range of services to include laser aligning of up to 14 machines coupled together, setting up of boring bars for On Site Machining, crankcase main bearing pockets, flatness surveys of base plates, slew rings, pump casing et. Conducting straightness and gauge surveys of overhead crane rails as well as on site dynamic balancing of rotating machines. Laser Engineering have enlarged their service to include the Laser Alignment of Head Gear Sheave Wheels to obtain the correct Fleet Angles. A computer printout is given at the completion of the alignment. Laser Alignment are also agents for Pre- Cut Stainless Steel Shims which are manufactured locally at very competitive prices. Laser Engineering have carried out Laser Alignment contracts in Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Tanzania and Namibia.
