Tonse Alliance Promises Quality Education and Improved Water Supply.
Tonse Alliance presidential candidate Brian Mundubile has pledged to improve the quality of education and expand access to clean water if elected into office in the August general elections.
Speaking during a public rally in Chiengi District, Mr. Mundubile said although the current free education policy was introduced under the UPND government, a Tonse Alliance administration would focus on improving the quality of education by investing in more infrastructure.
He said his government would construct additional classroom blocks across the country to reduce overcrowding, with the aim of ensuring that each classroom accommodates no more than 45 learners.
Mr. Mundubile said creating a better learning environment would enhance the quality of education and improve academic performance among pupils.
He also promised to expand water reticulation projects across the country, saying increased access to clean and safe water would improve the lives of citizens and support national development.
Mr. Mundubile urged Zambians to vote for the Tonse Alliance in the August elections, saying his administration would prioritize improved public services and infrastructure development.

CF PRESIDENT HARRY KALABA LEFT ALONE AS HIS RUNNING MATE MOSES MAWERE JOINS TONSE ALLIANCE.
Citizens First (CF) running mate Moses Mawere has left the party to join the Tonse Alliance, a move that has been acknowledged by party president Harry Kalaba.
In a statement issued today , Mr. Kalaba also confirmed that Chishimba Kambwili had joined the Tonse Alliance, saying Citizens First respects their decision and wishes them well in their future political endeavours.
Mr. Kalaba said although the party would have preferred to continue working with the two leaders under the Citizens First banner, it believes in democracy, freedom of association, and the right of every individual to make their own political choices.
He thanked Mr. Mawere and Mr. Kambwili for their contributions to Citizens First and said the party releases them with its blessings and best wishes.
Mr. Kalaba reaffirmed that Citizens First remains committed to building a united, prosperous, and corruption-free Zambia founded on integrity, accountability, transparency, non-violence, and servant leadership.
He also thanked the leadership of the CF Orange Alliance, party members, supporters, and volunteers for their continued dedication to the party's vision.
Mr. Kalaba assured Zambians that Citizens First remains steadfast in offering principled leadership and practical solutions to the country's challenges, adding that the party's commitment to integrity, honesty, accountability, and the rule of law remains unwavering.
He said the party's resolve is stronger than ever as it continues working towards a better Zambia for all.
