EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:
We are urgently looking for a Chef to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers. If you have experience with advanced cooking techniques, we would like to hear from you as soon as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Chef responsibilities include;
•Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipments.
•Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients.
•Cook food in a timely manner.
•Ensure appealing plate presentation.
•Slightly modify recipes to meet customers' needs and requests (eg. reduce salt, spice)
•Monitor food stock and place orders.
•Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
•Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients.
•Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
•Atleast 2 to 5 years proven experience as a Chef in high-volume kitchens.
•Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipments (eg. grillers).
•Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques.
•Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks.
•Excelllent time management abilities.
•Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes.
•Familiarity with sanitation regulations.
•Ability to work in a team.
•Grade 12 School Certificate or equivalent.
•Certificate in Food Production or any other relevant qualifications. A diploma will be an added advantage.
•Must be a Kitwe resident, or willing to relocate.
