If they obey and serve him, They shall spend their days in prosperity, And their years in pleasures. But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, And they shall die without knowledge.

It is a great thing to serve the Lord because when you are a servant of God, you will spend your days in prosperity. Money is the reason why most people go to work. Money is what we need to live and survive in this world. We all know how money is earned. We have to go to school and we have to go to work. Through hard work, sweat and toil, you will be able to have all the money you need.

But I know another factor that contributes greatly to your prosperity; the reality of being a servant of God. It is a great thing to serve the Lord because when you are a servant of God you will spend your days in prosperity and your years in pleasure. Prosperity is a clear promise to all servants of God. Expect to prosper when you serve God. Expect God to make you rich as you serve Him. Whatever job you do, know that serving God is key to your eventual prosperity.
