Today's Devotion

Then the LORD told Moses, “Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh. When he feels the force of my strong hand, he will let the people go. In fact, he will force them to leave his land!
-Exodus 6:1

If only we could wrap our brains around how great God is! He tells Moses at the start of this epic journey towards liberating the Israelite nation that his might will be on display. He promises that the people will be freed even though Moses on his own had absolutely no power to make this god-like ruler give up his free workforce. Moses took a massive step of faith by going before Pharaoh and telling him that his God was greater but his faith paid off because God kept to his word. We can trust when God tells us he is with us that he is able to see his plan to completion!

What is real love? So many of us spend so much of our lives searching for “real love.” We each long to find a steadfast love that puts others first. Jesus promises us this kind of love and gives us the power to love each other in this way. Look to Jesus to satisfy your desire for a genuine and never-ending love.
