Dear Reader:
"Will you take your place?"
1Pet.2.9 - But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light................
I remember seating in class,new class,new people,and hearing them chat and being chatty,I somehow joined in and we had fun talking about different things especially relationships..then this girl turned to me asked,"are you religious?" And I froze,"what do you mean religious?"
I vaguely remember she said something like 'being into things of God'..I don't know what I said but my answer was between yes and no,like,"I am christian,not religious,'maybe?'."
But what bothers me about this is:
The hesitation wasn't in trying to distinguish between spirituality and religion,but was Just plainly hesitant to claim a place as a follower;why?cause it's not cool?cause I felt ashamed?...Yet in all my hesitance and denial He never stopped calling me..He loves me and now gradually knowing Him I can proudly say,I am a follower,a child of God and He is the best.I thought I knew Him before,but I didn't and even now,I know I have only caught a glimpse...I pray by Grace and the spirit,I stick around as He reveals Himself,cause I can't imagine not knowing him, going back to how I was before..And I pray that you and I together will be able to witness and share in His glory...
Accept Him-JESUS-He is calling you to Join the fold or be serious about Him cause He is about you.

Good morning

Phil.1.9 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, (NIV)
Phil.1.10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, (NIV)
Phil.1.11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the glory and praise of God. (NIV)...
Yes we are called to love,but we ought to love with insight meaning..For example:Just because you love a person doesn't mean you have to close to them(if at all they are a bad company),so yes you love them but you also love to safe guard or uphold your morals which more important so you keep a distance...
Or,yes you love your friends and keeping them company but it's more important at that particular time to focus on your pending work or studies or praying etc.
So it's our prayer that not only do we increase in love but in knowledge and wisdom too,to distinguish what is important from what's not important that we will be found blameless when he returns.

*Don't be distracted in the name of Love*
