What to consider when you drop your phone in water.

1) Make sure the phone is switched off and remove the battery, that's if it has an extenal battery.

2) Never connect to the charger.This is the worst thing you can ever do,it will reduce chances of your phone surviving.
3)Putting the phone in rice as some people believe in won't do any thing as long the phone as not been opened and cleaned inside.This is because the oxidation process still goes on even after the water is completely dry.

4) Take it to a professional who can open it clean the motherboard and nicely close it.That's the best way.
