Today, Zambia marks , a reminder that national progress depends on respect, dialogue, inclusion, and a shared commitment to the common good.

As the African Union's civil society organ, ECOSOCC joins the people of Zambia in celebrating Unity Day and the values that strengthen communities, deepen democratic participation, and bring people together in pursuit of shared goals.

The African Union ECOSOCC Permanent General Assembly (PGA) does something similar.

As ECOSOCC's highest decision-making body, it brings together representation from the African Union's 55 Member States and the to deliberate on key issues, adopt ECOSOCC's policies and recommendations, and guide the institution's work within the AU.
