You can't be an important and life-changing presence for some people without also being a joke and an embarrassment to others. you just can't. Because there's no such thing as lack of adversity. It doesn't exist. The old saying goes that no matter where you go, there you are. Well, the same is true for adversity and failure. No matter where you go, there's a five-hundred-pound load of s**t waiting for you. And that's perfectly fine. The point isn't to get away from the s**t. The point is to find the s**t you enjoy dealing with.

Heavenly Father,

on this Wednesday, my heart seeks solace in Your unending grace. The stress of recent days has weighed heavily upon me, and I find myself yearning for the strength that only Your loving hand provides. In the quiet of this morning, I pause to acknowledge that every challenge is an opportunity to witness Your power at work.
Pour out Your spirit of peace over the turbulence of my thoughts. Let the warmth of Your love seep into the cold chambers of worry, thawing the fears that keep me from fully trusting in You. As the world awakens, help me to attune to the rhythm of Your divine purpose, to move with the confidence of one who is called and cherished by the Almighty.

Guide my actions and steady my spirit. Equip me to handle each task, each decision, and each moment with the wisdom that comes from above. Remind me that I am never alone, for Your presence is a constant source of comfort and guidance. In the companionship of Your presence, let me find the courage to face the day with a heart full of gratitude and eyes fixed on the blessings that You have laid before me.

Lord, expand my capacity for patience, that I might endure trials with a spirit of joy. Increase my endurance, that I may run the race set before me without growing weary. In every word I speak, let Your love be echoed, and in every action, let Your glory be reflected.

As I step forward into the unfolding hours of this day, wrap me in the assurance of Your promises. I place my trust in You, knowing that You are the God of yesterday, today, and forevermore. Through the highs and lows, Your faithfulness remains unshaken, and it is in this truth that I find my ultimate rest. In Jesus' name, I lift up this prayer for strength and serenity. Amen.
