CHAVUMA PEOPLE MUST COME FIRST. The youths of Chavuma let us Unite, Support each other, Work together and build the mighty Chavuma.
11/02/2026
I firmly believe in the resilience, fortitude, and determination of the Chavuma people.
Chavuma still bleeds from the open wounds of the recent past, marked by confusion, disputes, division, and inequity. The impact of this period, spanning from 2021 to 2026, is evident in the daily struggles of Chavuma's residents as they strive for survival, peace, unity, and overcoming persistent challenges.
Despite this, the community's hope and unwavering resolve to establish a just and inclusive district remain unshaken.
The people of Chavuma bear the scars of their experiences, yet they also harbor dreams of genuine peace, unity, shared progress, and a district where every individual has a place, regardless of their political affiliation, origin, or beliefs.
However, intolerance and the lack of acceptance of others, solely due to their non-affiliation with the ruling party (UPND), persist as a significant impediment to our district's development.
Overcoming this challenge is a collective responsibility. Through dialogue, mutual respect, and inclusion, we can transform the remnants of recent disputes, confusion, and division into lessons of unity, ultimately rendering political diversity a strength rather than a source of division.
Chavuma deserves to reconcile with itself and move forward in unison towards a future of dignity, freedom, and prosperity for all.
