Being blessed means being happy. So Psalm 119:1 teaches us that happiness is not following your heart. Happiness is not in following your dreams. Happiness and a blessed life is in following God’s way.

Also, knowing the Bible is not enough. You must follow (obey) it. The Pharisees knew the commands but were not blessed or happy.

The rich young ruler had wealth and knew God’s wors but went away sad because he did nit follow God’s way. (Mark 10 / Luke 18)

If you want to have a blessed life, follow God’s way.

Follow Jesus, not your heart.

Chase Jesus, not money.
