The euphoric atmosphere at White City Stadium yesterday afternoon as Grant Chigwenhese equalised for Nkayi United a few minutes before full-time against Talen Vision in the rebranded week one of the Pacific Breeze Southern Region Soccer League.

The match finished 2-2. The four-goal thriller was exciting, one of the best matches to be witnessed in the league. Talen Vision were unlucky to walk away with the maximum points after taking the lead twice before conceding in the dying minutes of the game sparking wild celebrations in the stands for Nkayi.

Throwback to 2018. Another Wafa Wafa semi-finals match pitting Tsholotsho Pirates, who had been relegated from the Premier League in 2017, taking on Talen Vision at Luveve Stadium.

In the picture is Botswana-based Sua Flamingoes forward Mcebisi Moyo, who had prior to this played for Emakhandeni Pirates and later moved to Telone to play in the Premier League. He has made waves in Botswana ever since he moved to Gaborone in 2021.

Moyo is under challenge from Nigerian Samson Chimayeze. Talen Vision had three Nigerians in their books that season. The match finished 3-2 in favour of Talen Vision.

Another throwback from the Wafa Wafa semi-finals clash between Bosso 90 and Hwange in 2021. In the picture is former Chipangano captain, Kelly "Uncle Ten-Five" Shiyandindi, who recently signed for Bulawayo Chiefs, tussling for possession with then 15-year-old Prince Ndlovu of Bosso 90, who was subsequently promoted to the senior team the following year.
