*Reporting the Situation at Green Fuel FC in Chisumbanje*

*Date:* August 3, 2024
*From:* Chisumbanje Residents
*To:* The Chairman, Green Fuel FC, Chisumbanje

---

*Introduction

The Chisumbanje community has expressed its gratitude towards Green Fuel FC for their commitment to promoting football and youth development in the area. The recent tournament involving 14 schools is a testament to the club's dedication to nurturing local talent. However, there are growing concerns regarding the involvement of local players in the team's matches.

---

*Concerns Raised by the Community

The primary concern highlighted by the community is the lack of playing time for local boys who are part of the Green Fuel FC squad. As the team approaches matchday 21, none of these players have participated in any full matches, raising questions about their future with the club. The community is eager to understand whether these players are still considered part of the team's plans or if they are merely occupying roster spots without any real opportunity for development.

*Key Points of Concern:

- *Lack of Playing Time:* Local players have not featured in any 90+ minutes of matches since the start of the season.
- *Development Opportunities:* The community is worried that without game time, these players may miss crucial development opportunities that could impact their careers.
- *Psychological Impact:* Prolonged inactivity could negatively affect the players' mental well-being and motivation.

---

*Request for Clarification

The Chisumbanje community respectfully requests clarification from Green Fuel FC regarding the status of these local players. Specifically, they seek to know:

1. Future Plans for Local Players: Are the players still in the club's plans for the remainder of the season?
2. Opportunities for Participation: Will there be opportunities for these players to feature in upcoming matches?
3. Consideration for Release: If the players are not part of the team's future plans, the community urges the club to consider releasing them to pursue opportunities elsewhere.

---

Conclusion

The Chisumbanje community values the relationship with Green Fuel FC and appreciates the efforts made towards youth development through football. However, it is crucial for the club to address the concerns raised regarding local players to ensure their growth and well-being. The community hopes for a positive response and looks forward to seeing local talent represented on the field.

*Yours sincerely,
Concerned Chisumbanje Residents

*Chief Musikavanhu and the Dondo Tribe*

https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029Vais8NL2ER6ajxw4sX37

The area associated with Chief Musikavanhu is called Dondo, and the people belonging to this area are known as vaDondo by tribe. The main language spoken by the vaDondo is Chindau. Their totem is mvuu, and their chidau is Mlambo [𝟏].

*Nyakuvima and the Rainmaking Tradition*

Nyakuvima was a rainmaker for the Rozvi mambos. He fled with a charm (muti) but was intercepted at Chibuwe hill by a Rozvi army (impi) who killed him and took his head back to the mambo. However, Nyakuvima's wife managed to escape and sought refuge in Duido, which is the present-day area. Interestingly, the head never reached the mambo as it swelled and eventually burst, giving rise to the Sabi River. Nyakuvima's wife gave birth to a son who became the first Musikavanhu and inherited the rainmaking abilities.
