Real Star Security Leads Harare CBD Cleanup, Reinforces Commitment to Community & Safety

HARARE– In a strong display of community spirit, Real Star Security mobilized its team today for a large-scale cleanup campaign across Harare’s Central Business District, removing waste, clearing blocked drains, and promoting a safer, cleaner environment for residents and businesses.

The initiative went beyond just picking up litter. It reflected Real Star Security’s holistic approach to safety and corporate responsibility:

Occupational & Environmental Hazard Control: Staff targeted areas prone to slip risks, blocked drainage, and illegal dumping reducing risks for pedestrians and traders.

IOS & Quality Control Standards: The campaign was executed following internal health, safety, and quality protocols to ensure every activity met professional standards. Social Responsibility in Action By stepping out of uniform and into the streets, the team demonstrated that security isn’t only about guards and alarms it’s about protecting the community’s wellbeing.

“Clean streets mean safer streets,” said a Real Star Security management representative. “When we reduce environmental hazards, we reduce crime opportunities and create a better trading environment for everyone in the CBD.”

The company extended heartfelt thanks to partners who made the campaign a success: Environmental Management Agency (EMA) for guidance and support, Real Star Marketing Team for mobilization and outreach, Real Star Management for leadership and resources and every Real Star staff member who turned out today to give back to the community

Real Star Security believes that true security starts with a clean, organized, and cared-for environment. The company plans to make the cleanup a quarterly initiative, working closely with EMA and the City of Harare.

Professionals Gather at Inaugural PF4P Convention to Drive Vision 2030

HARARE, 30 April 2026 – The Presidential Programme for Professionals (PF4P) held its Inaugural Annual Stakeholders Convention _yesterday_ at The Heritage Village, Harare, under the theme _“Building a Sustainable Future: Professionals Contributing to Vision 2030”.

The high-level event on 29 April 2026 brought together government officials, diplomats, academics, and private sector leaders to discuss the role of professionals in achieving Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030 goal of an upper-middle-income economy.

Key Highlights:
Proceedings were led by Masters of Ceremony Lionel Mkandhla and Rusheneko Parirenyatwa, with Hon Min Prof Paul Mavima, PF4P Patron, delivering welcome remarks and unveiling real estate investment opportunities for professionals.

Guest of Honour, Vice President Dr K.C.D. Mohadi, emphasized in his keynote address that skilled professionals are central to national development, urging attendees to align their expertise with government’s economic transformation agenda.

Diverse Programme:
Sessions included presentations from Hon M.T. Machakaire (Youth) on young professionals in development, H.E. Zhou Ding, Chinese Ambassador to Zimbabwe, on the Zimbabwe-China Professional Partnership, and Hon Min. Ambassador Fredrick Shava (Higher Education) on sustainable human capital. Hon Min. Felix Mhona (Transport) spoke on infrastructure as a driver of economic recovery, while Ambassador Kuda Chipa addressed the national skills audit.

Private Sector Support:
