Zimbabwe’s critical minerals are shaping the future of the global economy. But as the world races for lithium and other strategic minerals, one question remains:

Will Zimbabwe’s mineral wealth benefit its people?

The 2nd Youth Public Finance Indaba 2026 is creating a platform for young people to engage in this important conversation.

Under the theme “Reclaim, Rethink, Reimagine: Zimbabwean Resources and Economic Sovereignty Futures,” participants will explore how transparency, accountability, and sound public finance can ensure that our natural resources contribute to sustainable development and economic sovereignty.

Our minerals should build industries, strengthen public services, create jobs, and improve lives—not simply leave the country in their raw form.

The countdown is on.
