This outfit was inspired by my totem, Mbeva Hwesa. The animal has three distinctive stripes on its back, which became the key element of the design. I translated those stripes into the back of the outfit as a symbolic detail that represents identity, heritage, and personal roots. Through this piece, I wanted to transform a cultural symbol into fashion, turning tradition into a visual statement that connects who I am with what I create. Maita Katerera
