Friend's Advice
Now in those days the advice Ahithophel gave was like that of one who inquires of God. That was how both David and Absalom regarded all of Ahithophel's advice. 2 Samuel 16:23

*We, without doubt, are shaped by our surroundings.The advices we receive day in day out from friends, acquaintances, parents, confidantes, loved ones, children contribute a significant portion in the final decision, hence step or steps we take in this beautiful thing called LIFE*

_Ecc 12:11 The sayings of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings which are given by one Shepherd._

We all want to lean on a wise advice. We love, mightily or not, people whose advice caused us to escape great struggle or pits of misery. Don't we??

Some of our friends advices we'll cherish them long after they're gone or when we face the fate of our decisions.

Who can give the best advice ? Your age mates or older folks? All.is.not.a.bad.answer.

When Israel rebelled against Rehoboam, (son,and successor to King Solomon) King Rehoboam had a chance to avoid what could turn out to be a generational rebellion.

2 Chronicles 10:4-8,19
[4]Your father [King Solomon] made our yoke grievous. So now make lighter the grievous service of your father and his heavy yoke that he put upon us, and we will serve you.

[5]Rehoboam replied, Come again to me after three days. And the people departed.
[6]King Rehoboam took counsel with the old men who stood before Solomon his father while he was alive, saying, What counsel do you give me in reply to the people?

[7]And they answered him, If you are kind to [these] people and please them and speak good words to them, they will be your servants forever.
[8]But the king forsook the counsel which the old men gave him and took counsel with the young men who were brought up with him and stood before him.

[19]*And Israel has rebelled against the house of David to this day.*

Life will be lost, families devastated just
