Alive Albinism Initiative

Our Public Relations Officer had a distinct privilege of presenting the "Before Our Home Goes Down" project, an initiative by the Alive Albinism Initiative, at the Culture Fund offices, engaging with delegates from the EU Delegation to Zimbabwe and CreativeAction2 participants. This disability-inclusive visual arts exhibition amplifies the voices and creativity of persons with albinism, addressing misconceptions and stigma through art.

The project showcases the challenges faced by individuals with albinism, including discrimination and societal exclusion, while highlighting their resilience. Supported by grants from the Culture Fund of Zimbabwe and the European Union Delegation to Zimbabwe, "Before Our Home Goes Down" fosters dialogue on inclusivity and advocates for the rights and well-being of people with albinism, emphasizing the need for continued support and awareness initiatives
