HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL CHILD.....

Today we celebrate the power and the potential of every girl child around the world. As a Confidence Coach, i recognize that empowering girls is crucial for building confident leaders, a powerful nation and a brighter future for the next generation.

Let's continue to encourage our girls to embrace their uniqueness, to teach them they are enough, they are deserving and to dream big.

Here are some ways we can support them;
▪︎Invest in their growth in every area of their lives including their education, by ensuring access to quality education and skills needed for their success, however that looks like for you.
▪︎Continue to mentor and guide them by sharing your own journey and experiences. ▪︎Support and protect them in every way you can so they are not left vulnerable.
▪︎Develop their confidence by encouraging self-expression, creating an environment for them to thrive and a safe space to express themselves and grow their voices so they can advocate for themselves and others.

Here is to raising confident and economically empowered girls.

As we celebrate Africa day on 25 May, i want to celebrate us as Africans.

We don't have an intelligence challenge or a talent challenge in Africa. As an African woman, as a mother raising girls and as a Confidence Coach, i love and resonate with this statement; "Your mission is to ensure that you are able to stand shoulder to shoulder with anybody in the world and make sure the world doesn't look down on African women anymore." So here is the thing, we have to recognize our worth, our uniqueness, our brilliance, our talents, our gifts, our intelligence, our expertise, our experiences and show up unapologetically shoulder to shoulder with anyone from anywhere in the world.

And this is for men and women, young or mature.

Happy Africa day to us. The world is waiting for our brilliance.

Don't allow your worth to be based on other people's estimation of you. Know your worth for yourself.
