Some of the high foods, when I say high foods, I'm talking about foods that gives really fast energy quickly. So things like sugar and caffeine, those type of stimulant type foods. And of course, all of the energy drinks will give you a lot of energy really quickly. Now the problem with that is often when you have a lot of energy really quickly, you kick in your adrenaline or if it's a sugar food it can kick in your insulin. So your insulin levels will increase the sugar to decrease the sugar in your body and rebalance it, and then you'll have the insulin crash and then you'll be looking for more sugar. So that sets you up for a bit of energy high, low, high, low, which is not good at all. And similar thing with when you have a lot of caffeine or the energy drink.

Some of the things that can drop your energy is when you have highly processed foods or highly toxic foods with lots of chemicals in them, things like fish and chips that are cooked in a high trans fat fatty oils. McDonald's, all of the takeaways and some foods have hidden nasties in them.

So the key takeaway with the foods that you eat is have a look at the numbers on the back of the packets and if there's lots of numbers or there's words you cannot actually articulate, that's a pretty good indication that there's some things in there. Pretty highly chemical and sometimes quite just not meant to be in your body that can be quite toxic to the system.
