Even small changes can make a big difference to your vascular health.

Replacing just 30 minutes of sitting each day with light activity—like walking or gentle stretching—can improve blood flow and reduce the risk of heart disease.

It's not about intense workouts; it's about consistent movement. Regular activity helps keep your arteries flexible and supports overall circulation.

If blood flow to your leg is severely reduced, often due to peripheral artery disease (PAD), you might need a surgical bypass.

This is not the same as a heart bypass. Instead, we create a new route for the blood to travel around the blockage in your leg arteries, usually using a vein from your own body or a special synthetic graft.

A bypass is often recommended if you're experiencing pain even at rest, or have wounds that aren’t healing due to poor circulation. The goal is simple: get more blood to where it’s needed and give your leg a chance to heal.

It's a bigger operation, but for some patients, it can prevent further damage — and even avoid amputation.
