Yesterday felt like an important step forward for Para Climbing in Western Australia 🧗‍♀️

Over the past few months we’ve been in discussions with WAIS and their Para-Sport division, along with the national Para-Climbing community, about how we can create stronger pathways for athletes here in WA.

ClimbWell is now positioned to play a key role in helping facilitate the growth of Para-Climbing in Western Australia.

In the near future we’re hoping to see:
• More training opportunities and programs for para climbers in WA
• Clearer pathways for classification
• Better access to state and national competitions

There is also a strong possibility that funding and grants will become available to support athletes, coaches, facilities, and event organisers working in this space.

We’re excited to see the sport continuing to grow and proud to be part of building the future of Para-Climbing in WA.

A big thank you to Harrison, Taishar, Jake and Vanessa for coming to climb with Brant from insidewais at oasis_climbing yesterday. 🙌
