Researchers point to something called an "evolutionary mismatch" as the root cause of that constant frazzled feeling. Our brains still run on programming built for small villages where everyone knew each other personally.

Now we live surrounded by billions of strangers and their problems, all competing for our attention during endless overlapping crises.

Caring deeply about the people around us helped human communities survive and thrive for thousands of years. The problem is we got too good at building connections, eventually creating sprawling societies of billions that are more interconnected than ever before.

Our simply weren't built to process that much information at once.

Every scroll through becomes a reminder of someone else's tragedy or their highlight reel of success, and both leave us feeling worse. This constant comparison creates a brutal sense of competition that doesn't motivate us so much as wear us down psychologically.

Just a reminder. We don't need a world with trillionaires.

We need a world where everyone has enough.

A world where children don't go hungry.
Where everyone has a safe place to call home.
Where people can access healthcare, education, and opportunity.
Where prosperity is measured not by the wealth of a few, but by the well-being of all.
