Because of the temporary nature of pregnancy (nine months long), sleep problems in pregnancy are often missed or ignored; however, about one-third of the pregnancy is spent sleeping. Sleep problems in pregnancy have been shown to lead to pregnancy problems, and when sleep problems in pregnancy are treated, the health of the mom-to-be and developing baby can be improved.

This study aims to determine whether artificial intelligence can be used for simple, contactless, botherless, and accurate detection of natural sleep and sleep problems in late pregnancy without bothering the mom-to-be, the developing baby, or the bed partner (if any).

This may come as a surprise, but taking care of your oral health is crucial for more than just your pearly whites during pregnancy! Did you know that maintaining good oral hygiene can impact the health of your pregnancy and your baby's development? Let's delve into the connection between oral health and pregnancy. πŸ‘‡

✨ The Link to Premature Births ✨

Research has shown that poor oral health in expectant mothers may be linked to an increased risk of premature birth and low birth weight. Gum disease, specifically, can release toxins that may enter the bloodstream and trigger premature labour. Taking proactive steps to improve oral health can help minimize this risk and promote a healthier pregnancy journey.

Remember, regular dental check-ups, brushing twice a day, flossing, and maintaining a balanced diet are essential components of your prenatal care routine. 😊🦷 Your oral health matters, and by prioritizing it, you're not only safeguarding your smile but also promoting a healthier start for your little one!
