Whenever we see art being talked about, it’s so often through the lens of the final product. What if we took a step back and recognized that the act of creating is worthwhile all on its own?

It’s easy to get stuck in the daily grind, where focus is put on doing, achieving, and pushing through. This often comes at the expense of rest, creativity, and work-life balance. That’s where process art comes in.

🎨 Process art focuses on the experience, not the outcome. It creates space to decompress, reconnect with creativity, while supporting emotional regulation - without pressure, expectations, or the need for it to be perfect.

🖌️ No special skill needed! There’s no such thing as being “bad at art” here, you just have to be willing to try.

If you want to learn more about process art click the link in our bio and sign up for Kristina’s Art Group for Neurodiverse Adults! Designed to promote self-expression and understand and process emotions, you’ll learn more about how process art can help you find a healthy balance between leisure and productivity while incorporating more joy in your life.

Spring is a chance to reset, and it can be the perfect time to try new ways of working with your unique brain instead of against it.

Our Mindfulness in Nature Group for adults with ADHD is a 5-week series focused on building skills and strategies that help manage attention, overwhelm, and follow-through that actually translate to everyday life.

There’s no expectation to sit still or “clear your mind.” Instead, we’ll explore how your attention moves, how your nervous system responds, and what strategies actually help in the moment.

You’ll leave with:
• Practical tools to support attention & task initiation
• Strategies for managing overwhelm in the moment
• Greater awareness of how your nervous system works
• Skills you can carry into work, home, and relationships

The group includes:
📞 Free 15-minute intake call to ensure the right fit
🍃 5 weekly sessions
🌱 An additional skill review session to consolidate what you’ve learned
👥 Supportive, neurodivergent-affirming space with like-minded peers

✨ Bonus: Sign up by April 1st and receive a free 30-minute 1:1 OT session with Emily to support your individual goals!

Ready to build the skills that will help you thrive this season? Visit the link in our bio and head to our website for full details and registration!

Art doesn’t have to be “good” to be helpful and meaningful. For many neurodivergent adults, creative activities can be a great way to express yourself and add leisure into your day! Our art-based OT group is a supportive space to explore art for the purpose of creation, self expression, and relaxation, instead of focusing on creating a final product. Plus, you can connect with like-minded neurodiverse individuals as you tap into your creativity 🖌️

No art experience needed, just a willingness to create and explore!

Each session includes:
👋 A welcome introduction and ice-breaker
📚 Education on how art can improve well-being for neurodiverse adults
🎨 Guidance through an independent art activity
🌱 Final reflections and next steps

Ever notice how it’s easier to focus when someone else is nearby, even if they’re just quietly working too? This is what we call body doubling!

In occupational therapy, body doubling means having a supportive presence while you work on tasks that feel overwhelming. This can be anything from work for your job, homework, or cleaning up around the house. Having someone nearby whether that’s organizing, finishing homework, or starting something you’ve been avoiding. This is particularly helpful for individuals who struggle with executive functioning, a common issue for those with ADHD.

You get this structure a lot more in childhood, like sitting in a classroom while everyone does their work or doing homework at the table with a parent, but it can be strikingly absent in adulthood when structure has to be actively created. In a body doubling session our OTAs provide encouragement, gentle accountability, and create that structured environment where your brain thrives.

Think body doubling could be helpful for you? Send an email to [email protected] to book a free 15 minute consultation and learn more!
