Yorkdale Optometry is expanding, and we are looking for a friendly, outgoing, energetic team member to join our dynamic clinic. Responsibilities include but not limited to, answering and scheduling appointments, pre-testing, contact lens teach, general office administrative duties. Previous experience in optical and health industry is an asset but not necessary, training provided for ideal candidate.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
⦁ Provide excellent customer service and patient care
⦁ General office duties; scanning files, scheduling specialist appointments
⦁ Answering phones and booking appointments
⦁ Pre-testing, contact lens teach, and measurement of glasses
⦁ Process payments and end of day duties

Required skills:
⦁ Friendly and outgoing personality
⦁ Ability to multi-task, quick learner, and works well in a team environment
⦁ Excellent verbal and communication skills
⦁ Strong work ethics; punctual and reliable
⦁ Possess mature and professional attitude and excellent telephone manner
⦁ Strong computer skills; word and excel
⦁ Experience in the optical and health industry is an asset but not necessary; training will be provided
⦁ Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends
