It’s always healing to be able to heal someone from the inside and out.🌱

With the understanding of a patient’s skin concern, not only a local treatment is given but also internal healing acupuncture points are prescribed to enhance the effective of a facial rejuvenation treatment.

What can honey do for us? 🍯🐝

From the Eastern medicine perspectives, natural quality honey gives you an energy and immunity boost that lasts longer than a simple sugar rush (and less the sugar crash)

Honey from local farm carries components of local pollens,
which means if you have seasonal allergies, it is a yummy option to boost your immune system for seasonal changes.

Honey with ginger and lemon is also a great remedy for those days that you feel weaker or under the weather. It’s also a great morning or evening drink to substitute your coffees.

Honey can also be incorporated into your beauty regiment. As honey has antibacterial, moisturizing and energy boosting properties, combining with other skin “food” (I.e lemon, yogurt, ground black sesame, egg) or on it’s own makes an excellent, cost effective and natural mask that leaves your skin rejuvenated and moisturized.

Honey is also a great substitute for refined sugar and simple syrup, it adds a dimension of flavours to your treats! 🥞

Honey can also be used as a binding agent for herbal pills to make herbal remedies 100% natural and convenient for intake.

Do be mindful of allergies to honey and over-indulgence, as too much of anything can cause imbalance in your body.

Overall, honey is a great staple to your pantry and substitute for other refined products!

Do you use honey often? On what? Where do your source your quality honey? What other benefits of honey have we missed? Share with us in comments!

Why do Asian people drink warm water and beverages all the time?

(That is also their secret to keep youthful skin and body)
Your body temperature is 37C/98F, ice/cold water is around/below 10C/50F. So you are basically shocking your body and making your body work by having to warm it up before the body can take it as nutrients.

If you really can’t stand the taste of warm water, room temperature is fine, or try herbal tea - they are non caffeinated so you can still properly hydrate yourself.

There is an EXCEPTION though!

When it is very hot out or if you are feeling unbearably hot, you can def help yourself to a cold drink to help you cool down.

That said, if cold drinks will help you feel better from a long day, then enjoy it, and enjoy it like a treat so you are not taking cold drinks "for granted".
