: Elizabeth’s () Knee Pain

HER STORY:
For a long time, Elizabeth suffered from knee pain without any help until she came to and saw Manni () and Rudy ().
IN HER WORDS:
I injured my left knee about 3 and a half years ago, and my right knee about a year a half ago. I was in a lot of pain. I could barely walk up the stairs, and people almost twice my age were walking faster than me on the street. My knees constantly swelled up and nothing really provided any relief.
I took a friend‘s advice and went to see Manni at Ready Room Health. He really helped me strengthen and connect with the muscles surrounding my knees using Therapy, and giving me exercises to do at home. I can now walk and go up and down the stairs with no pain. My knees are becoming stronger and it feels great.
I also went to see Rudy, the Massage Therapist at Ready Room, and he really helped ease the pain not only in my left knee, but also my right arm and foot.
HOW HELPED:
In Elizabeth’s case, a Redcord assessment revealed that she was overusing some of her leg muscles and underusing others. This imbalance in muscle activation led to increased stress in her knees causing pain. Once assessed, Manni helped Elizabeth connect to her underused muscles better which created more balance and strength in her legs and along with Rudy’s soft tissue release, has decreased her pain!
